OciRant

Yo children of the world. That includes old people*. You're young at heart ~looks dramatic~... not that old people have any reason (or opportunity?) to read this... I think I strayed off topic.
So I was staring at the blog, as we all (we being za almighty authors) have been doing nonstop (haaa or we wish we had) for the past 48ish hours, since this blog became more than a single post and multiple brilliant ideas hovering about doing nothing... reeewind: So I was staring at the blog, and realized that for all the awesome content, we're so far focusing on a pretty narrow topic, namely Sculpey earrings. We do indeed all love Sculpey earrings, but for all the men out there, assuming they don't wish to express their manliness with nonconformity, they might want something a bit less... dangly... so I figured I'd introduce them to an instrument that allows them to sound like A BIRD XD (I sincerely hope that there are some people in the world who are still musically interested, because however gorgeous a world of hand crafters would be... its tragic...). But no one cares about "all the men out there" anyway, cuz none of thems musically talented, let alone craftically (... it works, ok!!) talented (note: taunting in order to persuade). So yeah.
Well as you may have noticed I started this post with absolutely nothing in mind as to what the content would be, but that I wanna include something new ... all for the sake of the world, I have no personal interest... ocarinas. I already ruined the whole element of surprise in my previous post, you were supposed to be taken off guard by the amazingness of this instrument, but if you didnt check it out then, now your curiosity is definitely aroused. Yes. it. is. Sidenote (this word should be used far more often, cuz as you've noticed my thoughts are completely littered with them... such as right now...): ocarina is pronounced "OCK uh ree nah". Dunno the true pronunciation language, but you get the point. OCK. not oak. Oak is a tree. and is not followed by arenas... haha... good one eh? hm.
Now you know how to pronounce it, and I gave you the websites where you can buy it, so all you gotta do is learn to play it ;D CONGRATS! You're making progress. I'm proud... (sorry, I'm condescending maybe? not intentional...)
If you're a Legend of Zelda fan, you've surely played Ocarina of Time, and thus have a great interest in buying an ocarina. I'm trying to create a world full of ocarina players. That would be beautiful...
So on to (more) serious speaks. Ocarinas come in a great variety of shapes, sizes, colors, attractivenesses, holinesses (as in ... you know what I mean), intensities, and difficulties. There are pendant ocarinas, which are small, round ones that can be worn as necklaces (if you're ... eccentric...) and played randomly in unsuitable situations (love the concept, cant abide the actual act). There are also sweet potato ocarinas, don't know if thats official for all ... sweet potato shaped ocarinas, but I'll pretend that it is, must uphold the amazingness of my ethos... cough... ahem resume: There are also sweet potato ocarinas. They are in fact shaped like sweet potatoes. When Kim and I first got our ocarinas, we got the sweet potato ocarinas from www.songbirdocarina.com. Though we later were struck by how comparatively expensive these were, we have always been pleased with them (well, in my case, always, in Kim's case... sometimes). They're easy to learn, as they're only 6 holes (the extended type... ;D get that one) and have a pretty sound. But later on we discovered the second site, www.stlocarina.com, in which there is a wide variety of professional ocarinas. We've since gotten... um... 2... ocarinas each... from there. Hard core right? Well we do plan on winning the lottery. Even so, you have a few years more to prepare to be impressed.
The original CORO club idea must live on people. I believe in you. us. Kim and I are sorta hoping for a major Panzer Crafts Sculpey earring trend in as wide an area as possible, and ocarinas might just... become bought for people ;D I dunno, no promises, no clear ideas, once again its late. My inspiration seems to come about 30 min before my mind dies... resulting in a major rant, with an uncomfortably abrupt ending. Forgive...

*Old people meaning everyone who dislikes being called a child :P

When we win the lottery, we
1) buy an ocarina factory
2) mass produce ocarinas
3) give them to zelda fans and/or musically talented children around the world

Whatcha think?
