Ravelry
There's a little store in that little village in Balboa Park that sells hand spun and dyed yarn and is run by a tiny old lady who knits beautiful hats out of mohair. She owns several goats and an alpaca, and she loves what she does for a living.
Well, I stayed and talked to her for half an hour (it was Sunday; business was slow) and she mentioned this very useful website that helps you keep track of all your projects, needles, yarn stash, and patterns.
